DevOpsX Talks

In the eighth session of DevOpsX Talks held on June 23, we hosted Viktor Farcic, Open-Source Program Manager of Shipa, a US-based and Cloud Based Application Management Platform. Viktor Farcic is the author of bestselling books such as DevOps Paradox and Test-Driven Java Development and host of DevOps Toolkit Youtube channel where he covers DevOps tools in detail. On DevOpsX Talks #6, we discussed microservice architectures. Onur Başkirt, the Principal Software Consultant at Emirates Airlines, talked about GitOps approach, tools and delivery pipeline with his presentation titled “Fully Automated Pipeline Installation with GitOps and Continuous Testing in Microservices”, sharing tips for fully automated pipeline installation. We met for DevOpsX Talks #5 on March 31^st to discuss the principles of DevOps and talk about how DASA^® (DevOps Agile Skills Association) can contribute to the organizational DevOps transformation process. Sam Rosbergen, Digital Sherpa & DASA^® Influencer from Brunel International, have delivered his presentation “How DASA^® Can Help Transform Organizational DevOps?”. He also answered the questions after his presentation. After the event, we gave our DASA^® DevOps Fundamentals Certified DevOps Engineering Training to one of our attendees as a gift.

In the fourth session of our online event series DevOpsX Talks, we talked about DevOps transformation in the new generation banking architecture and in Mainframe along with DevOps Scorecard, which raises awareness in the organization. DevOps and CI Manager Çağlar Çataloğlu and Senior DevOps Engineers Esra Karagöz & Kadircan Türüng talked about the DevOps journey at Garanti BBVA Teknoloji.

We met with ACMAgile in the third session of our online event series DevOpsX Talks. At the event, we hosted Ahmet Akdağ, Murat Yurdakul and Mutlu Çiçek, who have signed many Agile transformation projects so far. We evaluated the agile software development methodology and its relevance with DevOps. You can watch the event record on Youtube.

In the second session of our online event series DevOpsX Talks, we hosted the DevOps Manager of Intertech Information Technologies and Marketing, Salih Eligüzel. After Salih Eligüzel’s presentation “What Has DevOps Changed at Intertech?”, we talked about the performance metrics and contributions of DevOps transformation to Intertech.
